How an aerosol works in your aerosol packaging company
At Romar Global Care, we inform you that the basic principles of how aerosols and sprays operate have evolved considerably since their invention. Aerosols or sprays are essentially pressurized containers that contain liquids and gases. They are composed of the following components: Valve, (this is the place where the pulverized content comes out), button, (opens or closes the valve; when we press it, the liquid comes out), dock, (holds the button in its position), boat, (contains the liquid to be sprayed), cap (covers the push button), Contents, (what we are going to spray), gas, (high pressure located inside the can).
Below we see, step by step, how an aerosol or spray works:
- Propellant mixed with liquid
The propellant is kept inside the canister in a liquid or gaseous state, under high pressure. When released, it mixes with the liquid to be sprayed.
- The liquid reaches the nozzle
When we press the button, the liquid rises vertically through the fishing tube generally attached to the valve, and is not sprayed until it reaches the button to be expelled.
- Pressure change
When the mixture of liquid and propellant comes out through the button, its pressure changes.
The propellant, inside the canister, is under high pressure. When it comes into contact with the normal atmosphere, it pulverizes the liquid that accompanies it, making aerosols perfect gadgets for dosing liquids both in humans and in the environment.
